The first chapter is free, the remainder of the game including the epilogue (which I found the most fun) was included in a one time app purchase. Clues were helpful if needed. Great little game. Not sure Im going to go for two or three based on 2x and then 6x the cost of this one.
This is actually the first time I recommend a game that is worth your money. The amount of details and effort put in this game is unbelievable. Thank you.
This is a great game, but it only has one problem. I purchased this game a while ago on my iPad, and now I wanted to download it on my iPhone. I played the first chapter, and then it says that I have to purchase the full game. I pressed "restore purchases", but it would t allow me to do it. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I originally purchased this on iPad???
I had read reviews about this game in the past and finally thought I should give it a try. The puzzles were well thought out and didnt feel repetitive which is nice to see. The game could have been a little longer as it only took me about 2 hours of play to get through all the puzzles. Overall I would recommend it to someone who enjoys this type of game.
Get this if you like puzzle solving, steampunk, brilliant graphics, and a clever plot. Finished in one day - couldnt put it down.
Some bad moments
Cant get past the first level. The mini telescope cant be grabbed like in the YouTube video so I cant progress. I paid for this too.
So you think this game is free at first but NOPE. You have to actually purchase the game INSIDE the game... if I could, I would give a solid 1/100
I really really wanted to like it, but most of the time it just wouldnt move the way it was supposed to or ANY way for that matter. Not sure if its a glitch in the game or my screen or what, but I eventually had to delete it.
I purchased this game a while ago for both iPad and iPhone and for some reason I am unable to "restore" my purchase. After the first chapter, you are required to pay $.99 to continue.
Not a big deal but Im not sure Ill have to keep paying each chapter, so Im out.
Amazing concept and execution for a game. I was loving it......until I beat it. I was planning on buying The Room 2 and 3 shortly after downloading this I loved it so much. Then after only a couple hours of gameplay I had beat it. For an app that costs money it should take a lot longer to beat. Luckily this was only $0.99 so its not too much of a waste. Unless they made the other ones about 10 times longer I wont think about spending any more money on this series.
The App Store lists this game as free. However once in the game, it requires a purchase to unlock the full game.
This is deceptive to consumers, hence the 1 star rating.
The tutorial level itself was engrossing and left me wanting more, however the "surprise" of having to pay for the rest of the game killed the experience. Ill be promptly deleting this game.
Such a waste, as I have no issue paying for games when I know beforehand.
